  1. I don't know much about a deb, even though I am Australian. My school has year 11 girls who have their deb this year. Usually, its for young ladies (or guys) who enter the society in a formal way? Idk. They wear really nice white dresses and IT IS NOT LIKE A PROM. They do have debs in America and they are MUCH different to Proms.

Proms or Senior are like Year 10, 11 or 12 Formals.

I think you must have a partner and usually its the girl who has their deb and they ask a guy to be their partner. because the girl is a debutante?

  2. I always had formals however i have been to my brothers deb when he was in year 10.

From what i know its like a formal except all the girls at his one wore white dresses and all the boys similar suits. Then they did a few dances that they had practiced to certain songs.

From what i know as well it was the girls who asked the guys but im sure if you are worried about getting someone to take you, just hint to a girl you want to go with that you want her to take you. Or im sure it wont matter even if you flat out ask her, she might even be impressed by your confidence dude.
