Our son, who is slightly autistic, lost his toy monkey at a funeral 2 weeks ago.To date it has not been found. It is very old and we have no chance of buying a replacement in the shops as we have no idea where it came from in the first place. It is approx 4/5 inches tall with a plastic face, hands (the thumb on 1 hand is yellow to represent a banana which you can "push" into its small mouth) and feet and was virtually falling to bits. It went everywhere with him. We are hoping that we can find a replacement somewhere on the internet and can provide a photo to anyone who may be able to help. Even though he is nearly 8 he is obviously really upset and can't really bond with our ideas of a replacement. Can anyone help please?

  1. Email me a photo of the monkey and I'll try my best to help you.

WTF has someone given me a thumbs down for trying to help someone. Idiots!

  2. Sounds like a Chico monkey (which I am guessing is a Chinese rip off of the Japanese Monchhichi doll)

    one like this (Monchhichi)

  3. try diverting his attention to sth else... get him a new toy that he may lke and he'll be too engrossed  with it to remember the monkey....

  4. I used to have a monchichi monkey, they are so cute....but I agree with the first poster, it sounds like a monchichi doll....good luck!  ebay is awesome
