  1. i will concur with you on that one. it's all luck. thats why people who don't deserve it win


  2. Maybe she is simply referring to those people who go every day for years and stand in line to buy tickets, or sacrifice milk so they can buy a scratch-off.  Did you ask HER what she meant?

  5. Your teacher is trying to get you to react to a certain statement.  Your teacher wants to know if you can think for yourself.  Let them know what you think and show that you can think for yourself instead of just believing what someone else says.

  6. What rational did your teacher give for basing the theory upon hard work? Even entering a lottery often doesn't increase your odds. Winning the lottery is pure luck, and wining it next time is the same small odds. People who  go every cycle for years, have the same odds each cycle. Don't believe the fool who says he's played a million times, he can't stop now, his time to win is surely here.
