Our team is good even if yours is better?

I am so tired of hearing that the Penguins suck. If we sucked that bad, then you wouldn't be playing us in the finals. Yes, you are a good team. I'll admit it. Everyone can see it. Don't have to convince us. But if everything was reversed, you wouldn't want to hear us bragging about how much you guys suck. No matter how long it takes us to get a goal, we'll still be fans. No matter what anyone says your team is your team. Can anyone out there back me up?

Honestly the Penn's beat the Rangers....that's cup enough for me...Maybe next year Detroit should be in a league of there own..

Hey the Pens wouldn't be here if they weren't good. I think a lot of the c**p is a response to all the BS from Pens fans too. Neither set of bandwagoners have been impressive. In fact some of your previous post were less than cordial. So what do you expect?

Just remember that the Stars looked this bad after 2 games against the Wings too.  It's all about momentum.

The Pens are my team, win or lose & have been since they were the Hornets of the AHL. Fans mouthing off is a time honored tradition & everybody does it to some degree. Brain dead fans dogging the Pens does not change my opinion one bit & it never will. Talk is cheap & never hurt anyone unless you let it.

The weak East gave Pittsburgh a BIG HEAD.  Now you're all heart broken.  Get used to it because your a small market team that was lucky enough to win a lot of high draft picks.  By small market I mean you almost had to move out of Pittsburgh.  Your organization will never be able to build depth around these amazing individuals and all of them will eventually move on to teams who can afford their high contract demands.  Start by saying good bye to Hossa this summer.  Detroit built a team from within, not by chance.

What Jason is thinking of is the Golden Rule. Penguins are good. Before the series started I said that the goalies would be the difference and they have been. Fleury has given up some weak goals. I'd say 3-4 of the goals were weak. The rest of the goals were major defensive breakdowns.

Lol come on, Don't take it seriously. We all know the Pens don't suck. just in the spirit of being in the SC play-offs, we all just say things we don't mean. Especially when your fav. Team is leading the series. I'm sure if the tables were turned us wings fans would hear nothing but "You guys suck/are too old/ Kiss the cup goodbye" and so On. Most of us are being nice.

the pens fans have ripped on the flyers, so i wouldnt be talking.  for a while, every other question was how great are the pens, why do the flyers suck. so just look in the mirror before you make a comment

The Penguins DO NOT SUCK.  You don't get to the Stanley Cup Finals by accident.  They have a lot of talent, and Michel Therrien has done a great job molding them into serious Stanley Cup contenders.  They just didn't know what to expect coming into The Joe.  I expected that the Wings would win the first two at home (I'm biased; I'm a Wings fan) but no one expected two back-to-back shutouts.  That was a fluke.  The Penguins just need to put their frustration on hold and take advantage of returning to home ice, where they haven't lost a game in over 3 months.  I'll be VERY surprised if the Wings sweep.  Pittsburgh will get it together.  Even if the Wings take the Cup, the Penguins are a worthy opponent.

The series in 2 games old, still time to turn it around............not saying that will happen, but if it should, it makes for a serious plate of crow. Understand too, that most of those coming on this site to rah rah the Wings and c**p on the Pens are nothing but fairweather fans. Alot of Wings fans can attest to the fact that they have had their trials and tribulations. The Pens are a young team, I did not expect them to get this far this soon.....sometimes the losing makes you better for the future. Not that it is over yet. They just need to defend home ice for now.
