Benfica coach Jorge Jesus has heralded the brand of football that his side plays and said that his team took risks that often paid off.

The tactician guided the Reds to a double during his maiden campaign, which consisted of the Primeira Liga and the Portuguese Cup. Although in the 2010/2011 term, he missed out on the title, the coach was still able to retain the Portuguese Cup he won a
year ago.

Their ominous position this term has been due to their attacking tactics and the trainer was keen to reiterate this point.
Speaking to reporters, he said that his side had become synonymous with fluid, attacking football and he believed that going forward was the best form of defence.
"It is quite positive to hear that the team is synonymous with goals amongst the fans. More victories can only bring more peace and help us win championships. We always look at the game with a much more offensive strategy than defensive. We are a team that
takes risks,” Jorge Jesus was quoted as saying.
With his model of attacking philosophy, Benfica have become a true force to be reckoned with and will be on their way to secure yet another Primeira Liga trophy if they can maintain their current momentum.
