I do not have a manual as I purchased it used. I don't see any evidence of leaks. I am not sure how to check the fluid as the place that looks to be the fill spot is 1/4 of the way from the bottom.

  1. leaks.....

  2.   the trim and tilt is controlled by a small pump usually mounted on the  wall behind the engine ,it has valves in it to hold the drive in position ,find a manual and it will tell you where to check the valve

  3. first check for a full reservoir, and top it off.then trim all the way up and look for cracks in the ram.

  4. hydraulic fluid leak, or failure of pt valve in pump...first, check and see if you have a full reservoir, then start tracing from there...good luck
