Appears to be where the hose goes in to the washer. Do I need a new hose or can I put a washer in there? HELP water on leaks on the floor everytime we use it.

  1. If it is just leaking when you USE the washer, replacing the rubber washers will not help, as there is pressure at this point all the time.  If it is a old washer most likely the seal in the tub has gone bad.  If it is leaking where the hose connects that is easy to find wipe it dry with toilet tissue and see if water keeps coming back then replacing the rubber washers would solve problem.

    Good Luck

  2. First thing you need to check is where the hose goes into

the washing machine, there should be a small rubber washer

inside the bit that screws into the machine.Make sure the water

is turned off first before you unscrew it to check. If there is no

washer fitted then get a new one, if a washer is present then

take it out and have a look at it and see if it is split, if its ok

put it back then tighten it up by hand only (no wrenches allowed)

then turn on water and see if it leaks.
