  1. The kitchen might have loose washers causing them to start and stop.  The remedy would be to remove the stems and check the screws holding the washer in place.  Turn shutoff valves first.  Are you on a well or town water/

  2. with an issue that you are describing, I would ask the plumber to come out and check his work, it may or may not have anything to do with what he did earlier, but if he wants your business again or a bad mark on better business bureau, he should come and look... or have his boss look if he is employee. With the problem that your describing, there are quite a few things to check so I can't give you help on pb problem

  3. How old is the house? It may still have galvanized steel pipes and is full of rust and gunk that it may be impeding the flow of water. If you have the modern copper piping and your outside water faucet works fine, then I suspect your indoor plumbing has some constriction at the water inlet from the water company. I would first contact your water company and have your water pressure coming to the house, especially when the the pressure is low. He might provide you with a water pressure meter or go buy on your own but see what the pressure is when it's low. It should not be much less than 50 psi.

    Good luck.

  4. Sounds like you have an airlock in the system. Try running all affected taps at full pressure for a couple of minutes.

  5. soldier or glue can get in the water line when they are repaired, they will clog tiny spaces like the diffuser ,remove the diffuser on the kitchen faucet it screws on the end of the water outlet.stuff can also get trapped in the valves,it will make them drip, all lines should be removed and water flushed  through till clear.............tom

  6. Seems funny how no one asked whether your on a well or city supplied water.

    Which is it?

  7. Check and see that all the stop valves(under the sink and behind the tub) are all the way open.
