Though a beautiful and intelligent freshman at a school for the ultra-wealthy, Haruhi cares little about her appearance and how people view her. She's poor and would rather spend time studying. The only reason she's able to attend is because of a special scholarship merited by her good marks in school.

But when she accidentally breaks the expensive 8 million yen vase of the popular Ouran Host Club, she's forced to perform odd jobs in order to pay for it. That is, until they realize that her looks could make her an instant hit as a member of the club.

The club aims at making girls feel loved by letting them spend time at a hosted party by the six good-looking rich guys. Sadly, due to a haircut and her choice of clothing, they think she's a guy and give her a male uniform. Deciding it the best way to pay off her debt, Haruhi goes along with the charade.

But eventually her secret is discovered and the guys discover something attractive about her that they didn't see before.

      ohshc is about a girl, Fujioka Haruhi who gets a scolarship to this really fancy school for rich people

         because she has short hair and boyish clothes shes mistaken for a boy by a host club, who are "handsome guys who have time, helping beautiful ladies who have time" as says the "king" of the host club.

     she breaks this really expensive vase and is forced to work for the host club to pay off her debt

      you HAVE to read it. it's a really good manga/anime and i fell in LOVE with it and the charcaters
