Out At Dusk to strike in the RGOA Members Trophy Race on 29th February at Romford
The Grade A5 RGOA Members Trophy Race is to be held on Wednesday, 29th February at Romford over 400 metres flat. From among the six hounds, the one who gets to the wire before the rest of the lot will become entitled to the £112 prize money.
Out At Dusk, Droopys Maldini’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Back By Daylight, has performed impeccably ever since the new season began. She has only missed one out of the three starts that she has made till yet.
Out At Dusk won a Grade A6 400 metres flat race at Romford on 5th January. She clocked the track distance in 25.01 seconds and led by ½ a length. She was entered as a 5/2 favourite for the race and had Blue Angel as the runner up of the race.
Finishing third behind the winner was Out Ang Gone.
Out At Dusk’s second victory of the season was in a 400 metres race at Romford. She took charge of the field by three and a half lengths while clocking the track distance in 24.78 seconds. Fat Frankie was the runner up for the race.
Her last outing on 18th February at Romford in a Grade A5 400 metres race resulted in a third position after covering the distance in 25.00 seconds. The race was won by Up To Joseph while the runner up was Browneyed Babe.
This was the first time during the season that Out At Dusk encountered a defeat while racing. However, she has absolute chances of taking away the title today.
Snappy Ciaron, Tyrur Ted’s four-year-old black son out of b***h Snappy Girl, has held onto the second position during the two starts that he made through 2012.
He was second against the 3/1 favourite of Grade A5 400 metres race, Robbies Touch who led by ½ length and clocked the track distance in 25.54 seconds on 11th February at Romford.
On 18th February, Snappy Ciaron was second in a Grade A5 400 metres race at Romford. He finished the distance in 25.02 seconds behind the winner Bonville Big Ben who led the field by 1 ½ length while taking 24.90 seconds to cover the distance.
