Out Of The Blocks to bag the victory in the Norfolk Racing Club/Blues Property Maiden Auction Stakes
Yarmouth will host the Norfolk Racing Club/Blues Property Maiden Auction Stakes on 10th April, 2012. The surface of the track has been labelled good to soft, and it will cover a distance of 5 furlongs and 43 yards. The five
runners will compete for a purse of £1,617.
Mossgo, Eloquent Star, and Reberty Lee will be racing in their career maiden, whereas Out Of The Blocks and Sally Bruce have competed in 1 race each.
Out Of The Blocks, trained by Tom Dascombe for owners, The M.H.S 2012 Olympic Partnership, started his racing career on 2nd April, 2012.
The son of Firebreak, out of mare Suzie Fong, competed in the Gates Are Open And We're Racing Maiden Auction Stakes at Redcar on 2nd April, 2012. Mounted by jockey Richard Kingscote, he landed a placed finish in third.
He lost the victory by a narrow margin of 1 ¼ lengths to the winner, Lothian Countess.
Sally Bruce, the two-year-old bay filly started her career on 31st March, 2012. The daughter of Byron, out of Show Trial, who whelped on 24th March, 2010, is owned by Ripple Racing, and is currently under
the training of Olivia Maylam.
She delivered an impressive performance in her debut, as she stood in sixth place in a line-up of eleven runners in the Williamhill.com Maiden Fillies' Stakes at Kempton, where she was teamed up with jockey Jennifer Ferguson.
Reberty Lee, son of Three Valleys, out of mare Query, whelped on 24th April, 2010 looks strong enough to claim a placed finish. He comes from a pedigree of winners, and is expected to perform in a terrific manner today.
Owned by the Burns Farm Racing, he is bred by the Burns Farm Stud, and is being trained by Noel Quinlan.
It looks like Out Of The Blocks may be able to improve his standing and finish first, but Reberty Lee is stirring some interest from the market. He may have some potential which will be brought forth on the track today.
Out Of The Blocks will be breaking out from post 5, Reberty Lee from post 3, and Sally Bruce from post 1. The speculation is that Out Of The Blocks will finish first, followed by Reberty Lee as a runner-up, whereas Sally Bruce might secure the finish
in third place.
