problems: 1. weekly revolts on the oil companies tend to slow down production 2. they need money for other basic needs besides power so the gov't sells it to other countries 3. oil spills 4. radical groups/gangs hoard the power to hold something over the regular people

solution: the solution would be to try to fix the corrupt gov't and provide stability for more than 5 years...corruption is the underlying issues that stems to all their problems not just power.
