I've lost count however but I am not in the least bit surprised if everyone has problems since surely the delusional would not notice?

At least I noticed mine and can manage them to a degree no meds (No more)

And in reality we can't all be smiling happy people 24/7 that would be weird wouldn't it?

There wouldn't be any drama and I love a bit of drama.

There wouldn't even be Artists

I can't imagine a life without a bit of sadness every now and then could you?

  3. One of my closest friends suffers from OCD actually. He keeps it a complete secret even though it drives him crazy. He is one of the funniest guys I know and I would have never known he suffered from it had he not told me. Funny how things aren't always as they seem with people...

It's just the question of if you know it or not at the time

I mean I don't wish harm mentally or physically on anyone...but without it, life would be the same day after day after day, right?

  10. If I count family and good friends there would be 12 out of 17 (including a couple folks I know online who are really good friends.)  Scary thing isn't it -- and these are all folks with verifiable diagnoses not just possibly some sadness, but DID, Bipolar, Major Depression, PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, etc....

  14. I don't think I know anyone with no problems in that area....either anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, insomnia, etc.  Fortunately all of those can be controlled...I don't know anyone with an uncontrollable problem, thank goodness.

  15. Lol, two. Me and a friend of my boyfriend. Both bipolar.

  16. Be wary of attempts at classifying any behavior that isn't "smiling [and] happy" as a mental health issue.

Mental health doesn't mean being happy all the time.  It means that the connections between actual events, emotional/psychological responses to those events, and coping mechanisms for dealing with the emotional/psychological responses to those events, are in good working order.

  17. i know one person with a mental illness, it's awful to see.
