I am particularly interested in historical sites more than shops.

  1. Chester

but Lincoln is quite nice near the cathedral and castle area (in the lower area it's quite awful)

Nottingham isn't as impressive as Chester - beautiful buildings in Chetser and the amphitheatre which someone else has mentioned above.

  2. I love Chester, i go there every week. :)

There is the amphitheater to go and see which is free. There is also free museums, you can walk the Chester walls, see the barges at the river, admire the buildings and the clock, statue in the town center. There is a lot of history there. Go to the tourist center to make the most of your day. :)

  3. Nottingham - by far. I was born in Nottingham, but now I live in Lincolnshire and go to Lincoln alot these days, and I didn't find Chester a very friendly place to go. In Nottingham, there are 3 great shopping centres, there is a great castle and museum, Wollaton Hall /park within deer and a lake, Trent Bridge and embankment, the Arboretum, great public transport and the oldest pub in the wurld Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem. Night life is fantastic, loads of cinemas, clubs and pubs with some brilliant restaurants. Nottm and it's attractions are amazing when compared to the other 2 cities.

  4. I really liked Chester when we visited there

  5. you can go to devon.

it is very peaceful there and quite good

    historical places found.

    ALSO QUITE HOT!!

i would rate it 10 out of 10

  6. Chester is my local metropolis so I'm biased! Been to Nottingham can't say I was aware of anything out of the ordinary history wise.

    Never been to Lincoln.

If you do go to Chester wait till around 6.00pm on a summers eve to explore. All the sights are yours only! No bloody annoying hordes of loud Italian kids.

  7. Chester, definitely, but I am biased as I live half an hour away and it is my local Cathedral City.

The Cathedral is magnificent, dating back over 900 years and has the best medieval woodcarving in the country.

  8. i agree with jedi knight. nottingham is great!

theres a fantastic ghost walk every saturday night that is very entertaining.but  i must admit chester is lovely too.

  9. out of them, i'd say Chester
