I've heard people argue that Kessler's over all boxing skill and technique would be too much for Pavlik and that Pavlik's heart and power is too much for Kessler. Of course you have Arthur Abraham, who is also a really good fighter that brings a good game. Tell me who would win between these three and please back it with something and thank you for reading.

  1. my money would be on pavlik but it would be a close fight between him and abraham. Pavlik has an average chin only and relies too much on his power. While abraham has a solid chin winning a 12 round fight with a broken jaw. It would be an amazing challenge for both but I would bet on pavlik.

  2. No way folks.  I picked Pavlik to beat Miranda when no one gave him a chance.  I also know that Pavlik is not quite as good as people want to believe, mainly because he is a tremendously nice guy and his image is good for boxing.  Having said that, I like Pavlika  lot but Abrhaam's style is wrong for him. I see an ugly and somewhat boring fight, maybe a knockdown or two but Abraham escaping with a close decision.  He is a little too savvy for Kelly. Pavlik should also stay away from Joe Calzaghe because Joe will win that fight as well.

  3. pavlik KOs both of them, to much pressure, not to mention the kid hits really hard.

  4. I'll take A.A. of Kessler. Kessler's power isnt enough to stop him walking up.. and ive got a feeling Kessler is a bit chinny. Also, im not convinced he can fight 12 hard rounds - so wasting punches hitting the arms and guard of A.A. will take it out of him.

    Abraham TKO9 Kessler

For A.A. and Pavlik.. i see a good fight. I think it goes the trip with Abrahams inactivity costing him rounds and Pavliks workrate winning him rounds.

    Pavlik UD Abraham

And Pavlik - Kessler.. hmm, another good one. Kessler has underrated speed and head movement. I think he boxes too well for Pavlik. Both are pretty similar straight-up fighter.. a bit predictable.. but Kessler is slightly sharper by hand and foot. If he can not get caught on the ropes, and i think his good enough not to, he'll win.

    Kessler UD Pavlik

  5. I would have to give the edge to Kelly Pavlik. Pavlik has an impressive win over Edison Miranda, just as Arthur Abraham does. Also Pavlik definitely has the competition edge over Abraham, with victories over Jermain Taylor twice, Miranda, Bronco McKart, who he defeated by knockout, which doesn't happen often to McKart. Abraham's noticeable wins were two victories over Miranda. With the size difference, I think Pavlik would control Abraham with his jab.

Now, throwing in Mikkel Kessler in the equation, he lost to Joe Calzaghe, who many may think is an overrated hitter, due to his so-called slapping like punches. Kelly is not a slapper and Kelly is nowhere near as old as Calzaghe. Also, I don't see Kessler doing enough to overcome Pavlik's jabs, like out jabbing him out slipping them.... simply outworking Pavlik. I could see Pavlik outpointing Kessler in a close bout.

  6. Kessler was my pick to beat Calzaghe but he lost.  I think Pavlik beats Kessler and Abraham
