  1. The human race didn't suddenly gain higher intelligence... it was a long slow process of evolution.

Mammals have higher intelligence than other animals, and primates have even higher intelligence, and well, we evolved from mammals and particularly apes.

It wasn't magic, it took a looong time.

  2. if humans are intelligent, wide you sell it intelegent

  3. Spiritual leader Benjamin Creme [who claims to communicate with the Christ] states outer space aliens sped up our evolution in Africa.

  4. Evolution comes from necessity, there was probably a die-off of what ever species we were hunting for food and when it became too difficult to get food hunting, we came up with agriculture/settling down and using tools for farming, and that gave way to higher intelligence over time

  5. Bravo Mystery Meat, you are referring to the human "bottle neck" in very early history.

  6. God gave us the ability to think and reason far above the animal kingdom....the human brain is more complex than the rest of the universe combined and as far as we know, man is the only creature to even contemplate the universe and our Creator.

  7. Probably came about from throwing rocks, the extreme amount we pay pro ball players proves this.

  8. Why do you assume that there is an evolutionary answer to this?

Evolution fails to provide the answer.

Humans have never suddenly gained intelligence. Adam and Eve were created intelligent. Probably a lot more intelligent than us. We are suffering from 6000 years of devolution!

  9. COMPETITION!

    (For resources).

And we are the result of what survived...

  10. Who said humans are intelegent?

  11. i'm not sure how long ago, but at some point the human race almost died off.  it's theorized that a natural disaster made resources more difficult to come by.  i would think that only the fittest and smartest of the species survived, thus creating a superior gene pool.  also, diet has a great deal to do with intelligence.  being omnivorous lends an advantage to brain development.

yes sleepingliv, you are correctomundo.  now when did that occur.... hmmm?
