  1. Hi,

Out of area, is any call where the caller id has not been passed by the sending network, this is usually a mobile phone calling from a roamed network. For example an O2 phone is Spain calling back to a UK landline my show as "out of area". It can also be a fixed line from another country but this normally will show as "international".

    Hope this helps?

  2. I think it means an overseas call centre try not to answer and they may get bored.

  3. anywhere that does NOT start with the same area code as you.

I.E if you are 0208, anything thats not 0208 is out of area.
