Can a school pupil who is sleeping or having an affair with a school teacher be expelled from that school?

It really depends on the situation.

More than likely, the school would view the student as a victim, since according to the law, statutory rape is taking place.

Not only that, but the school would want to send the message that they offer a safe environment, where students are not to be taken advantage of.

So, despite what the circumstances may have been, the school would probably only expel the student as a last resort. The teacher, being the adult, would face the majority of disciplinary action.

Probably not but the teacher would in all likelihood be fired and never be able to teach again.  If the student were a minor then the teacher would be brought up on charges of statutory rape even if it was a consentual relationship.
