Out of date beer in a can, will it really go off in a can, if so, how long would it take to go off?

It won't do you any harm. I once drank half a crate of lager which was about 6 monyhs out of date and was absolutely fine. Well apart from having a stinking headache and feeling like S**t the next day.

yes, due to small amount of air in can, depends on date, most beers have at least a year on shelf

Some friends of mine once drank some worlds fair beer from 19 seventy somethin' a couple of years back, they didn't get sick nor did they find the beer disgusting.

i have a modelo thats a few years old im not planing to drink it any time soon.

They usually last a long time. Me and my dad drank a box of Rugby beer that was 7 months out of date between us. Was fine, tasted normal. Didn't get any problems.
