Out of date magazenes returned to wholesalers who then sell them at a reduced price.?

Glossy magazenes such as Elle, Red, Cosmopolitan etc. If they are not sold at the newsagents etc they are normally returned to the wholesaler. They are then offered for sale at cheaper rates. They are ideal for reading in reception areas at dentists, doctors etc.

They are then returned to the publishers, because they are supplied on a "sale or return" basis. Doctors, dentist etc. get them from their own sources, gifts etc. not from the wholesalers.

Not resold by the wholesaler!
