  1. Steve Forbes is a Mayweather associate he is a guy that's been trained by Jeff, Floyd Sr,Roger and he knowns how to fight the Mayweather style very good. When Floyd Jr was an Amateur getting ready to turn pro Forbes was his sparring buddy. Steve can do a good job of PRETENDING TO BE FLOYD JR and that's all their bringing him in for. He is naturally smaller than Oscar with 5 knockouts so worse case scenario Oscar is down on points he doesn't have to worry about Forbes hurting him he can just tee off. This fight is really a practice for Oscar they are getting Forbes a guy that the Mayweather family knows well to mimic Floyd Jr so Oscar can work on things he plans to use in September.

GO FORBES I DONT WANT MAYWEATHER VS DELA HOYA 2

  2. You are doubting Frobes. He is skilled and tough! If you want to read about this fight head on over to http://www.fightjunkie.com/predictions they have a write-up on the fight and also a forum where you can go and chat about this and many other fight related stuff.

  3. Forbes is a relatively safe opponent for Oscar who has a similar fighting style to Floyd Mayweather, Jr.  In other words, he is a good tune-up opponent.  He only has 9 knockouts in 33 wins, which basically tells you that he is not going to knock Oscar out.  And he is a very slick and defensive fighter who utilizes the shoulder roll, similarly to Mayweather, Jr.- I'm not saying that Forbes is close to Floyd, but he does have a similar style that Oscar feels will help prepare him for their rematch in September.  Forbes is a skilled smaller opponent that will allow Oscar to test out certain things in the ring that he has been working on with Floyd Mayweather, Sr. in the gym.  Thats why Oscar chose Forbes.
