Kim Clijsters was bundled out of the Australian Open 6-0, 6-1 by Nadia Petrova in the third round, ending the mum-of-one’s chances of winning a second consecutive Grand Slam in her return to tennis after two years out of the game.
Clijsters, speaking afterwards, was more frustrated by the fact of the loss than the magnitude of it. The Belgian said of her performance that “I wasn't feeling the ball well. It sucks”.
