how long do you have to be living somewhere to not have to pay out of state living charges?

  1. i think it's 3 years, but it could be like 2-5


  2. It depends on the state... some have as few as 6 months... like Arkansas.  Other states like  Arizona and California have a 2 year requirement.  Tennessee has no time frame... see the link below.

    Also be aware you CAN live in a state and not have it count towards your residency requirements.
