I turn 16 in a week and am going to be looking into getting a job. I live in CT right next to the MA border and there are more jobs available in MA and they are closer. If I get a job in MA will both CT and MA taxes be taken out of my pay? Thanks!

  1. More than likely you will have to file a tax return for both states. You will get a credit on your CT return for the tax you paid in MA.

    Hope this helps
