Out of state student?

I am currently living in Maryland and I am planning to study at Washington DC with a student visa. I am aware that having a studnet visa will adjust my tuition fee at a higher rate. Does this mean that another additional amount will still be imposed on me since I am an out-of-state student?

Be careful... your F-1 (student) visa ties you to one particular school.  If you leave the school that permitted you to obtain the visa, you will, become out of status.  You will have to re-request the F1 visa from the new school.

In most states, if not all, treats foreign students as out-of-state students.  There are usually no extra fee for being foreign.

Yes as an out-of-state student, you will pay out-of-state tuition fees, which are higher than in-state tuition fees.

So yes,there will be additional tuition costs to pay.
