  1. they are all ASSEMBLED in the U.S.

  2. Toyota is built in Kentucky.

Chevy and Dodge in Canada and Ford in Mexico.

  3. Its like this:

    US Based (make & manufacturer):

    Chevy

    Dodge

    Ford

    Camry

    Non-US Based (make & manufacturer):

    Impala

    Charger

    Fusion

  4. All of them are made in the US but Toyota is made over on the other side of the world.

  5. chevy impala, dodge avenger, ford fusion. toyota camry is from japan.

  6. the Ford Ranger is built in the U.S.

(not that you really care anyway)

  7. Dude, and I call you 'dude' because pastor's and priest's are nothing more to me, did my explanation of the UAW in your last question trigger a brief research mode? lol

Anyway, Toyota is the only manufacturer that builds the actual car in the US that competes in Nascar at this time.

I could ask, of the four company's, which one is owned by the US?...Answer: Chevy, Ford and Chrysler.

I live 10 minutes from the Chrysler plant in Fenton Missouri! They build Dodge Ram Pickup's and Mini Vans so.....

EDIT: Mike P, I think your the one that needs to do some research since Daimler sold Chrysler like 6 months ago or so to an American company!. I thought that was old news.

  8. toyota camry, made in georgetown, kentucky since 1988. and since 2007, more camrys are being produced in lafayette, indiana to handle the increased demand.

    from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Moto...

"Originally known as Toyota Motor Manufacturing USA, TMMK was established in 1986 and is Toyota's largest manufacturing facility outside of Japan. It began production in the fall of 1988, building the 1989 model 4-cylinder Camry. In the beginning, the engines were shipped from Japan, however, an on-site engine plant was added in 1990. It presently builds the Avalon, Camry, and Camry Solara coupe and convertible. The factory also produces 4-cylinder and V6 engines and powertrain parts with an annual capacity of 500,000 vehicles and 500,000 engines."

    and from edmunds.com: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Fea...

"With the increasing popularity of the Camry in the U.S. came the decision to set up production of the car in the states. Georgetown, Ky., was chosen as the site and the first American-made Camrys started rolling off the line in 1988. As with buyers of the Honda Accord, U.S. consumers could now buy a Japanese car without feeling guilty about taking work away from Americans."

"Of more important note this year [1993] were the production statistics; the Kentucky plant now made 75 percent of the Camry sedans sold in the U.S. and 100 percent of all the Camry wagons, sold worldwide."

more importantly, there are now toyota factories all over the US: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Moto...

  9. That's some raging h@rdon you have there for Toyota.

  10. None of the 4 cars in Nascar are built entirely in the United States.

People that want to go off on Toyota in Nascar must not care a bit that Toyota employs more Americans than Dodge, Chevy or Ford.

FrankieColetta before you say Chrysler is American owned you should do some research and find out why it is now owned by DaimlerChrysler, a German company.
