Out of the six wives of Henry VIII, who is your favorite?

I'd say Catherine Parr. She was knowledgeable, religiously tolerant, and a good mother for Henry's children.

Anne Boleyn..I love reading about her..she was a beautiful and ambitious lady..wonder how history would have turned out had she remained queen...

Since the only things we know about these women is what history has chosen to record I think it is impossible to have a favourite.

Anne Boleyn, she would not give in to him until she got what she wanted, brave woman in those times, unfortunately she promised a son and could not keep her promise.

Catherine of Aregon.

I read a book by Phillipa Gregory called The Constant Princess, and it was soooo amazing....it's about her when she was Catalina de Aregon, and how she and Prince Arthur really loved each other, and he made her swear to marry Henry so she could do loads of stuff for England etc.

It was sooo sad! I cried loads. So now she's my favourite.

I like Anne Boleyn because she is mother to one of my favorite monarchs--Elizabeth I. Also, she was beheaded on my birthday--May 19 (which is kind of weird, but cool).

Catherine of Aragon.  She was married to Henry for longer than the other five put together, and acted as regent when he was away fighting in France.  She showed great courage in standing up to him and not letting him browbeat her into agreeing to an annullment.  I admire her for her courage and for not giving in.

Anne Boleyn.  She was the mother of an amazing queen- Elizabeth!  Plus she has a whole story.  Definitely the coolest.  =]
