Outback Gideon geared up to extend his success streak
The last month was the best time of his career as the legendary trainer M. Walsh’s black dog marvellously bagged four classic victories. He added one more in that streak on November 1.
Now, the three-year-old veteran hound is keen to extend his purple patch further by winning the Bet on your mobile at Williamhill.com at Newcastle racecourse.
The high-stakes A1 contest of £133 is scheduled to go over the distance of the 480 metres tonight. Outback Gideon will break from Trap 3 to show his guts against five mighty rivals.
In a bid to boost up the dog’s morale to cope with this arduous challenge, the bettors have granted the 9-4 favourite tag to him. Like previous times, he will try every nerve to live up to the expectations hinged on him.
Since debuting in September 2011, the son of Indian Ruler out of Shifty has proved his class in various formats of the game. His A1 record is really magnificent.
On March 31, the brilliant sprinter nicely notched up top spot in the William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes. He moved ahead to win two back-to-back contests of Bet On Your Mobile At Williamhill.com in the last half of April.
Then came October when the maverick runner beautifully won three T3 races with reasonable margins along with earning the title of the William Hill - The Home of Betting. All four were convincing and impressive performances indeed.
Outback Gideon again finished first in his last A1 outing entitled as William Hill Hotbox Bet Stakes.
These stats indicate that the skilled hound is packed with momentum at the moment. He is going to be a tough runner tonight. However, Viking Bert can show enough resistance against him.
The D. Calvert trained black and white dog excellently won Williamhill.com Stakes on September 26. He proceeded to win William Hill - The Homes of Betting Stakes by 5 lengths on October 16. The dog elegantly sealed top spot in William Hill supporting Racing
Post TV Stakes of October 27.
Thus, the young runner is full of confidence these days. A rip-roaring battle between the two dogs is imminent. Let us see who manages to thrive. Good luck to them.
