Outback Steakhouse dining-what does it mean to get your steak "Philadelphia style"?

There are two types of Philadelphia aka Philly steaks...There's the Philly Cheese Steak..basically your steak is cut real thin, and grilled with by itself or with onions, peppers, sometimes mushrooms, and then topped with some cheeze whiz, provolone, or cheddar to melt on top..and put in a sandwich roll. (very tasty).

    The other way is:

    It's rubbed with some spices (i included a recipe below), then topped with a type of cheese sauce. SO it's kind of like a philly cheese steak sandwich, but your steak stays in one piece and has the cheese/cheese sauce on top. I've never had it this way, but it sounds tasty.

  3. I think it means with cheese, sauteed onions and peppers.  But the menu is probably the best place to check.  You never know what them crazy Aussies are thinking.
