Outdoor activities that are cheap but still fun and adventurous??

i wanna go outside more cause i am very adventurous but i dont have a lot of money to spend on like a dirt bike (which i totally want). so is there anything i can do for fun that is cheap. i dont live by the ocean so i cant surf. we do have a reservoir but i dont have a boat or anything.

i go four wheeling occasionally but i need something i can do on my own cause my friends are all lazy as h**l.

buy a pair of comfortable hiking shoes and look for nearby trails.  for the water you can get "floaties" for not that much money at your local target or drugstore and hang out at the reservoir without a boat.  check out craigslist for either another dirt bike or regular road bike and take that out.  you can also pack a lunch and book on any of those activities for when you are ready to take a break.
