I am looking for some photo locations, preferrably on the West SIde of Cleveland. This is for a wedding and they need to be outdoor, the bride already has a list of indoor sites.

I have the typical downtown locations- Rock Hall, University Circle, Public Square, etc. I need westside and south, anything as far as medina, independence, etc.

Thanks!

  1. You might want to consider the gazebos.  One is at the Village Green (Columbia Rd. and Water St.) in Olmsted Falls.  Another is at the City Commons (Rts. 42 & 82) in Strongsville.  Or Grand Pacific Junction in the middle of Olmsted Falls has a lot of nice views - you can see photos on their website.  There's also a covered bridge with pedestrian traffic only just north of Grand Pacific Junction at Columbia and Main St.

    Or the MetroParks.

  2. Well the best place I can think of that would give you awesome shots is the Metro Parks( Valley) or Edgewater Park, Lakewood Park, Bayvillage.

  3. Squire's Caslte-North Chagrin Reservation (Cleveland Metroparks)

    Whipp's Ledges-Hinkley Reservation (Cleveland Metroparks)

    Grand Pacific Junction, Olmsted Falls (as someone else had mentioned)

    Blue Hen Falls-Cuyahoga Valley National Park

    There is a small park, right by the village green and library in Olmsted falls....I can never remember the name of it, but the covered bridge in that area goes over it. That would be a good area for some photographs as well.

    There is a very small, very clean, very beautiful beach (with a water fall) at the top of columbia rd in Bay Village. If you cross Lake rd, and follow the sidewalk down you'll see it. May be worth looking at!

    And although this is on the east side-it is worth at least checking out;

    Wade Lagoon in front of the Cleveland Museum of Art. Absolutely beautiful, especially in fall and spring. Very prime for wedding photography. Also, while you are out that way, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens are stunning.
