  1. True or False depending on the regulations of your state or of your rating system.  A six foot fence does provide two things: kids, people, and animals from getting out and kids, people, and animals from getting in.   The basis behind a fence is that your outside play area should be protected.   You do not want predators to watch and plan an abduction.  You are also protecting the kids and potential run away situations by having a fence that is not easily exited.  You are also protecting the play area from wild/runaway animals that could potentially hurt the kids and their f***s which can spread diseases.   Overall if you have a center you should have a fence to protect your program

  2. True, firstly for privacy, secondly if it is for children it is especially important so they dont get out and so that they aren't seen by anyone, no matter how horrible it is there are some people who would like to abduct children.

  3. Depends on the regulations where you are, assuming you are talking about child care.

  4. I would think that it depends on what state you live it. I know of plenty of preschools/day cares that have fences that are only 4 feet high.

  5. In California the law is the fence has to be atleast 6 feet high for the sides and back of the property and atleast 5 feet in height for any playarea that is either block or wrought iron for home daycares. Whatever Private or Public daycares that I worked for would have the same with the chainlink fences in front area.

  6. Minimum "T" the reason is that anyone attempting to take a child can not lift them over that size fence.  Our day care did a neat thing they left the old fence and placed a 7 ft fence around it with about a 3 ft space between.
