  1. its aquired take loads of flyballs until it becomes second nature

if u dont hav  that time best advice i can give is to watch the ball until it begins to descends then u will hav a better chance and take the fist step backward cause its worse if u drops over u opposed to in front

  2. On the ball hit right at you you should "180" step so you can go in or out equally well. Your teammates should have a side view of the play and give you an in or back call. Center-fielders get a lot of those. Knowing the # hitter (is it the 9 hole or is it 3 or 4) is helpful. Lefty or righty can tell you a little about which way a ball will tail.Pay attention to the count and where the ball is pitched. Also the kind of swing a batter takes can give you that early jump on a ball that makes all the difference.

  3. just remember....first step always back....then judge it off the bat....most of the time your first instinct is the right one

its basically aquired by taking ALOT of fly balls in practice

  4. depth perception, you just stay under the ball

  5. these are somewhat right but it's also readin the ball off the bat. how fast does it leave the bat? how does it sound when it leaves the bat?
