Well I'm a Geelong member and I had to turn up in person in Melbourne (even though I live near Canberra), with my credit card, the one I paid for the tickets with in the ballot.

I can see why but if I didn't HAPPEN to be in Melbourne that day, I would have had a massive queue at the ground.

Personally I don't think it's enough as I do not need my membership card or any ID to get in, so stealing scalping them (or stealing them and then scalping) would be a quick profit (I've been offered $10,000 for the four of them).
