Outlook Express Questions?

So i lost everything on my computer, all my files and everything. i have two outlook express emails that both work if you sign in to outlook express online, but i cant get either of them to open up when i open the outlook express icon on my computer, how can i get them back

You lost the files, or did you just lose the icons?

The icons on your desktop are NOT the actual files.  I'll answer to both problems below A and B.

A.  LOST ICONS

To reset an icon for any program, including OutLook Express go to the system folder that holds the program.

RIGHT click START > left click Explore > scroll down to your User section > under that double click Programs >

find the program folder >

double click to open the folder...look for an icon in the panel on the right.>

RIGHT click the icon (or the folder) > select Send To >

Create shortcut on Desktop > OK

B.  LOST FILES

Perform a simple system restore:

START > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore >

In System Restore window follow the prompts, and select a day and time BEFORE you lost your files.

Restart your comptuer
