Outrageuos!!! medicaid?

Can medicaid take away a child's health insurance without warning and they are a U.S. citizen? because thats what happend to my cousin, he is a us citizen and he has no more medecaid and they didn't tell us about this is this legal??????

The govt can do anything the govt chooses to do.. I have been on "welfare" for 15 years (disability) and they have closed my cases several times for not turning in required paperwork (which I personally hand carried and turned in), etc.. but you know.. the govt never screws up..or so they say.. it's a losing battle. just reapply and start all over. Appealing is a waste of time.. you will lose and in the process delaying the application process again.

Yes they can, due to the fact that he may have not been eligable anymore due to increased income,/ resources and or he may have had to a renewal and no paperwork was given.

Um, yeah. The government giveth, and the government taketh away. Your cousin probably failed to turn in the required yearly paperwork, or missed an appointment, or lied on a form and got booted, or made too much money in the last quarter to qualify. Chances are, you were notified and paid no mind to the notice.
