I know NASCAR currently has some issues, I do think it has gotten worse as it has worn on...can you make any suggestions on how NASCAR can improve?

  1. Let someone run the sport that actually cares about the sport and not getting richer!

  2. 1) Tell Toyota to take a hike. NASCAR is an American sport.

    2) Stop forcing diversity into the sport. Make NASCAR accessible to everyone who wants in, but don't force feed different ethnic and racial groups into the sport.

    3) Bring back Rockingham

    4) Limit races on the 1.5 mile cookie cutter tracks

    5) Keep cup driver out of the Nationwide series

    6) Let the drivers "police" themselves and handle  their business on the track and in the garage without always having them report to the trailer.

    7) Embrace where you're roots are and where you came from. Just becuase the sport has become more popular nationally, understand that true fans appreciate the Southern heritage of the sport and values it represents.

  3. 1-The France Monopoly, since they will not listen to the drivers when they tell them the new car sucks and is not drivable.  If anyone should know, wouldn't it be the drivers and not someone in the front office who has never been in a race car in his life?

2-Favoritism in the announcers booth.  They should call it completely biased and not pull for particular drivers.

3-Too much attention focused on one driver week in and week out. There are 43 drivers every given Sunday.

4-Get rid of any form of political correctness.  It does not belong in this country, let alone NASCAR.

5-Different "artists" ruining the National Anthem any given Sunday.

6-Start the races earlier in the day like they used to and stop catering to the west coast.

7-No more Cup drivers in the minor leagues.  Let them have their series back.

8-You qualify, your in the race, you don't you go home.  I don't give a ratts a** how many owners points or past championships you have.

9-I like the chase, but if you have the chase, score it properly.  One bad race in the chase and its practically over for a driver.  Give them a separate points system and score them 1st through 12th.  Don't completely eliminate a driver who gets crashed out in the first race.  If you win, you get first place points, if you are the last place finisher of the chase cars, you get 12th place points.

  4. I 100% agree with Cole's answer.

    I'll add...

*If Nascar is going to tell the fans that all cars are equal, then make sure they are equal (though if Toyota took a hike, this would be a non-issue).

*Bring down the ticket prices (at least until gas goes down).  People would be a little more willing to buy gas and come to the track if tickets weren't so high.

*Change up the schedule, some tracks deserve two dates, some don't.  Listen to the fans and drivers, change accordingly.

  5. I'd get rid of some of the spring/shock/ and suspension rules in place. I'd let the teams have more ways to adjust the handling. I'd probably also eliminate impound races.

  6. Fire  Nascar President Mikey "hands are out for bribes" Helton. Fire The invisible man Pierre Debris. All he has done is try to turn stock car racing in to base ball ,football or basket ball with his stupid playoff race for the chase. Hey dummy race car drivers don't play with their balls they have BALLS!!

  7. first and foremost no more provisionals, you qualify to race no exceptions,

second, stop dropping cautions every time a piece of lint drops onto the track, a car that spins but recovers with no contact at all (SAM hornish last weekend) does not need a 3 to 5 lap caution period, this is just a chance to s***w a leader and team that busted their butts all day to get it Right, all just to make the finish exciting i.e. manipulating results

third and though it may seam odd it would make the biggest difference to the sport, the paint scheme they show up to Dayton with should be required for every race, ie one title sponsor per car, this means that the 88 can drive a monster energy drink car or a national guard car or a Mouton dew car, or the three can split the car, the point being to spread the money through out the field so all of the 50 some odd cars trying to qualify for a race have a legitimate chance

  8. i think the main problem is money still talks and when a total of 3 teams represent 9/12 chase teams the chase isnt much more intresting then if jeff gordon had a championship wrapped up already with the old points. so either make it so small teams can compete or just do away with the chase. better the first 25-30 races are intresting then none at all. ways to help small teams put cap on testing time and spending money for every one. 2 car teams

  9. I agree 100% with cole, I will also add that do away with the current qualifying system. Make everyone qualify by fastest lap time.
