we fed it because we felt horrible for it.

and my mother decided to let it inside one day.

and now whenever we open the door to the house it comes in.

the cat is too skinny... it looks sick.

i feel horrible closing the door in its face... it sleeps outside our house.

the poor thing has no home.

what can i do to make it go away?

  1. don't make it go away! bring it into your house and keep it in a seperate room where your other pets can't get near it... then call your nearest NO KILL shelter and ask them to pick up the cat!!

then maybe the cat will have a chance to live a happy, comfortable long life in someone's home instead of dying next week on the side of the road.

  2. get a dog

  3. well, your biggest mistake was feeding it! you really shouldnt of done that because now it knows there is food there! if you really dont want it there, dont feed it and maybe it will just eventually go away, but a quiker way is to just take it to your local animal shelter...who knows, maybe it will get adopted to a great family! And, i prolly would of fed iit too! lol

  4. That is sad. Please help the poor cat, if you just take it to the animal shelter, it doesn't deserve to be miss treated. It's good though that your helping it please just try and find it a good home.

  5. Not all male cats spray.  We adopted a male adult stray and had him neutered.  He's an indoor/outdoor cat because he was too used to being outdoors to adapt to being inside all the time.  He never sprays inside or outside (at least not around our house, which is his territory).

I think you should keep him.  And if your mom absolutely won't let you, then take him to a shelter.  Please don't let him starve and suffer outside.

  6. Find it another..

  7. well take it to the vet and ask them wats wrong with it and if there is something wrong with it get it medicine and then after its cured put it outside and if you have a fence put it on the other side and if comes back tell him to get.

  8. why dont you call a shelter. most areas have no kill shelters and will take them.the cold weather is coming and he is going to want in... cant you bring him in and make him a pet. if you cant which is totally understandable try to call your local shelter..that would be the right thing to do

  9. don't feed it!

OR TAKE IT IN AND FATTEN IT UP! or bring it to the local humane sciety

  10. I had a cat once that we fed and took care of. She'd stay outside on my porch, sometimes we'd let her in too. She was such a sweetheart! I kept her and took care of her for two years before she disappeared =(

    If you really want to send him / her away, why not look up a rescue in your area and ask them to take him / her. You can find a local rescue here;

    http://petfinder.com/

Right under the search for a pet box.

It's much better than sending him to a shelter.

  11. Bring it to a no-kill animal shelter and they will take care of it.

  12. Take food, make him follow you, and drop it where u want him to stay.

When you want to feed him feed him there, or just call your local animal society.

  13. take  her to the aspca they will take care of her
