  1. The Urubamba river (or Vilcanota) a great place for rafting (canotaje), but make sure to go to the Cusi area, where the water is pure and free of contamination. In Cuzco you will find many paths to ride in bike such as Maras and Moray , a circuit where you'll visit many cities, including The Sacred Valley (contact a tour agency, they have many bike ride circuits)  .Also, if you like trekking, try the famous Inca Trail which lasts 4 days.Tres Cruces is a viewpoint, you have to be there during June and July to watch the Rayo Blanco during dawn. 2. Take the Incan Trail (Camino's del Inca). It's basically a 3 to 7 (or more depending on how far you start it) day hike from somewhere around Cuzco to Machu Picchu and it goes along a real Incan trail, some of the hanging bridges you might cross were built by the Incan engineers and are still being used.

Machu Picchu is just one of the huge Incan buildings you will find around. There are other big constructions as Sacsay Huaman's ceremonial center, Ollantaytambo Fortress (Basically a fortress carved into a mountain) and many others.

You can also do mountain climbing, rafting, bike riding and lots of partying.

  3. Sacsahuman National Park

    Mountain biking

White water rafting on the Urubamba

    Huarcapay Lakes

    Sacred Valley of the Inca

    Ollantaytambo ruins

    Pisaq ruins

    Pisaq and Chinchero native bazaars

    Agricultural terraces of Moray

    Salt pans of Maras

Ruins at Qenko, Tambomachay, Pucapucara, Korikancha

Trekking on Inca Trail, Salkantay, Ausungate, Choquequirau, Vilcabamba

Visit nearby mountain towns such as Willoq
