  1. go to yellow pages.com and type in wedding and the town and on the left side in the bottom it should give you a list of different things for wedding options.  or type in on your yahoo search exactly what your question was. that's how i found the place im getting married at

  2. Go to the coast! Go to the Columbia River Gorge! Go to Mt. Hood! Portland is surrounded by a billion beautiful spots to hold a wedding... and most of them are public (i.e. free/ very cheap).

There are some great hotels or bed and breakfasts on the coast that offer wedding packages. (Heceta Head Lighthouse is one, though farther away). Local wineries would also be a beautiful spot (like Eola Wine Cellars). Or if you want something a little more casual, just head up to a state park and have a potluck and camp out reception. Here's a list of possibilities: http://www.oregon.gov/OPRD/PARKS/camping...

In Portland, you could hold it at a city park (http://www.portlandonline.com/parks/inde... ), on some museum or historical building's grounds, or in one of the amazing gardens. I know the Hoyt Arboretum hosts weddings, as well as the Classical Chinese Garden (though the fee is astronomical).

    Good luck!

  3. Try this site:

    http://www.homeaway.com/portland/s/5966/...

They list a bunch of vacation homes that could probably easily accommodate 80 people on the back lawn. I'm not too familiar with Portland but there are a couple different areas represented.

This would be nice too, cause you'd have a comfortable place to get ready beforehand and to stay that night and you wouldn't have to worry about getting to and from your wedding site.

Depending on how big the house is, you may even have a few other people stay there with you too (out of town guests, bridal party, etc.)

    Good luck!
