  1. Hi there,

First of all, don't pay any attention to the insensitive ppl who answer your question... if they don't like it, they shouldn't answer in the first place!

Anyway, I know how you feel. I'm not too sure exactly how much the cysts can affect it though. I've had ovarian cysts, and now I have to be tested for endometriosis! My periods were always irregular, but lately they've been so excruciatingly painful, even in my lower back, that I went to my Doc to inquire about the cyst, but he's sending me to get checked for endo as well... just to be sure...

However, I've read from other ppl that they have had multiple cysts, or even endo, and were able to conceive successfully. So, don't give up hope... your cysts might not affect it at all, sometimes it just takes awhile for some ppl to conceive. But if you really are concerned about it though, u should check with your Doc just to be sure & to rule it out or whatever.

Anyway, take care & good luck!!

  2. ask a doctor and spare us the details of your s*x life

  3. I have a history of follicular (simple) cysts and have been diagnosed with endometriosis. My ob-gyn told me that YES, cysts can interfere with conceiving. I would call your doctor and explain your symptoms, maybe and ultrasound could clear things up. Also, ovulation can be painful too?? Best of luck to you!

  4. In my experience, yes.... I have been having hemorrhagic cysts for a few years and have not conceived my 2nd child yet after 3 years of trying. I am assuming that the cysts are part of the problem, whether the cause or another symptom, I am not sure. I have always suspected I have Polycystic ovarian syndrome, though my doctor has not diagnosed this.

One of the symptoms of an ovarian cyst is infertility, but this does not mean that you will not conceive. Cysts are very common, affecting most women at one time or another.

What type of cysts have you had? There are several kinds, and each means something different as far as fertility goes. Talk to your doctor and see what she thinks.

Three months is not very long to be trying, don't give up! Good luck to you....

  5. I was sitting where you are now 2 years ago... so I understand. I had to have the dermoid cysts removed from my ovaries cuz they were causing me so much pain. I do have dermoid tissue that has formed again on my left ovary... and I have endometriosis with my right. I found all this out 3 weeks before I got my BFP. It's not impossible to conceive with cysts... but it is a challenge. My suggestion is to relax... have fun with intercourse... don't make it feel like a chore. Have s*x everyday or every other day if possible. Start taking Women's One-a-Day multivitamins... get your body prepared for a baby. I took vitex (liquid) and it really helped me a lot... plus it eased my pain just a bit. Hope this helps you. Baby Dust!!

  6. Well, from my experience with my ex, at one point we were trying to have kids and she would go to the doctor after failing to do so. He told her she had ovarian cysts and that was playing a good factor in having a hard time getting pregnant. But Im no doctor and Im not trying to diagnose you, lol, but that was my experience so I think theres a good chance its related to your problems having a child. But of course, you should see a doctor about, Im sure he could let you know whats going on. GOOD LUCK!!

  7. well I cant really tell you anything but I would suggest to you to  ask your doc if you are concerned good luck

  8. Normally when you get a cyst the egg starts to develop but it never bursts through the follicle... essentially it can keep growing and growing. So technically your chances of getting pregnant aren't really high because the egg was never released. You might want to talk to your doctor about Clomid or Serophene because they can prevent cysts and help you to ovulate correctly.
