Alexander Ovechkin is a 6'2, 217 pound Left wing On the Washington capitals. He was born in Moscow, Russia on Sep 17, 1985 (Age 22). He was chosen 1st overall in the 2004 entry draft by the washinton capitals.

He has only missed ONE career NHL game.

05-06: Alex played 81 games, scored 52 goals and had 54 assists, a total of 106 points.

06-07: Alex played 82 games, he scored 46 goals and 46 assists for a total of 92 points.

07-08: alex played 82 games, scoring 65 goals for 112 points. He also lead washington to the playoffs, appearing in his First ever playoff stint in the NHL.

Playoffs: in 7 playoff games, Alex scored 4 goals and 5 assists for a total of 9 points, while washington took a disappointing second round playoff exit.
