Oven burn! How do I treat it?

I had a very bad accident yesterday when I was baking a cake. The Oven shouldn't have even been hot on the outside! We'll anyways, I was cleaning up and accidentally hit the oven, I barely hit it! I touched the very bottom of the oven, it burnt my butt so bad, and it was a big burn. I didn't know I burnt it until I rubbed it and then I noticed that I was pulling skin off so the burn is open and I don't know how to treat it please help!!! I also need to know how to keep it from scaring! Thank you so much!

I know it may be really embarrassing, but the best thing to do is to go see a doctor and see what you should do; i would say probably get some special cream or something... but yeah. go to the doctor because you don't want it to get worse or anything, and by the sounds of it, it sounds pretty bad.

if you have an aloe vera plant - just cut off one and rub it on the burn

put lotion, aloe vera, and vaseline on it. i got a super bad burn on my leg last year from a motorbike fender, it was like a huge second degree burn and i never even saw a doctor. my friend had the same thing happen to her about 3 days dater. her burn wasnt as bad, and she went to see the doctor. he gave her a medicated lotion for it. Now, a year later, i have no scar at all and she has a clearly visible scar.

mine also peeled, oozed pus, and scabbed over.

so be perpared for the same to happen to you if its a really bad burn
