Oven cleaner for self cleaning oven?

Have you used the Easy Off for self cleaning ovens? My oven is really dirty (I know shame on me) I need to pre clean it anyway and wanted to use this but wondered if anyone had tried it? I am nervous about the high temperatures of a self cleaning oven and would rather just use the spray on wipe of kind I have always used.

Yes I use it and it works well.  I have an electric stove so I also use it on my drip pans for my burner (I spray them outside).  I use the kind that works overnight and my oven looks brand new.
