Just fund your site today. Very impressive, I had the range replaced w/i warranty for chipping enamel, and serviced for a control board. Range is now 6+ years old.

Found that a section of the element has broken off thus breaking the circuit. Please provide the steps for replacement, I have an idea how to (I'm a EE) but would still like some guidance along with any tips on how to complete the job.
Also, have checked on the WEB for the part but have not found the exact item, any suggestions would be appreciated.

My dacor oven will not heat up. Initially it would sometimes heat, but now the coils are cold. I had the termocouple repaced about 18 months ago. Had a similar problem. Cost $250 for a $60 part. Any way I can diagnose the thermocouple? I tried heating it with a butane torch, and the temp stayed at 135. There are no error codes.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
