Over 40 hours of community service hours?

Hi, why is that when I complete over 40 hours of community service hours, it shows up as only 40 on my transcript?

There might be a "maximum amount" that you will get credit for from your school.  Ask them.  If they will not record more than 40 hours then - - ask the organizations that you volunteered for if they will give you a letter indicating how many hours you volunteered.  (It does not really matter if it does not show on your transcript if you have letters and/or personal references.)

You're not giving much information. If this is through your school, you may want to ask them specifically. You're going beyond what is required and should have it reflected on your record. Good luck.
