Resident Evil 6 is the largest project ever to be undertaken by Capcom
Video Games are reaching levels where the cast and crew involved in bringing them to life can be compared to those that Hollywood employs in order make their films.
Ubisoft had a sizeable staff working on the Assassins Creed series, the developers of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Square Enix, also outsourced their boss battles to another studio and it seems Capcom has now set a new benchmark in terms of how many people can be working on a single game.
Capcom released an enticing trailer of their upcoming game, which raised a number of questions and gave on the most basic of plot details away. There has been plenty of speculation and talk that has gone on around the internet since then and Capcom have surprisingly been rather open, without giving too much away at the same time.
The latest bombshell dropped by the acclaimed publisher was news that the studio in Japan which is working on the game has 150 staff members all putting their combined efforts in making the next instalment in the core Resident Evil series.
At the same time over 600 employees are also working on the project in some capacity on the game in other studios around the world, making it one of the largest teams ever assembled for a video game.

Surprisingly that was the case and the site aired a trailer for Resident Evil 6 which satisfied both in terms of eye candy as well as building up interest in the game and leading to a number of questions being asked.
Three main playable characters were confirmed, including Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4 and Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 5, as well an as yet unknown third character.
A new enemy type was also introduced and the trailer seemed to show off three distinct styles of gameplay, one for each character.
Rumours then began that Resident Evil 6 would have six player co-op gameplay as well as online competitive multiplayer, though those reports are still unconfirmed as of this point in time.
