Over-Protective Parents...

I want to go up town with my friend and stay with her dad because theres this big thing going on with abunch of rides and stuff like that, then the next day is this concert. I'll be gone for just one weekend, but im waaaay to scared to ask because they always make up excuses like "i dont know her dad that well" or "I dont know where he lives." or "i dont know who goes to his house" then, they'll probably get me to call like every second of the day or my parents will probably sneak up at a hotel and try spying on me... it really gets me angry because i am not a bad kid at all. But, i remember asking and on the radio it was talking about that big event, then my mom was like i dont think i wanna go to that this year. then my dad was like we we'll probably be going this year. I was like "What? You dont have to worry because im going with my friend." then he was like "No your not going with any friends except us!" then i got all angry because when i went last year we only went for a hour! And if they dont let me go they're prolly ending renting a hotel to tag along with me.

What is a way i can ask my parents to go for a weekend without them! And so i can show them im responsible?

  1. That's a hard one..... tell them you're responsible enough to do this.  That will show them!!!

  2. My parents are overprotective too

  3. you never said how old you are for one, and does the girls dad let you go to the "big thing with abunch of rides and stuff like that" by yourself with your friend.  Your parents just love you and dont want anything to happen to you.
