Over sized bindings?

Question

i have a 147 cm burton blunt and the new binding i just bought are large burton missions. they look like they hang off the back a little bit. im not a big kid (120 lbs) so the boards a good size and cuz i ride in the park but i have big feet so i need the large size bindings..... does this sound like its going to be a problem? everyone at summit said it'll be fine when i was buying the bindings

well depends. if the bottom of the binding, where your boot touches is handing off then thats a little bad. but if its the back of the binding, then its not going to be a problem. but if you feel there is a problem, there is this thing they sell, i forgot what they were called.....uuuhhh... oh i thing they were called risers which rise the binding up off the board a little. This is general made for people with large bindings.
