  1. try a weight gainer. Add it to your daily meals routine.... work it 3-4 shakes. Eat every 3-4 hours. Reduce cardio... increase weights if working out.   do 40% protein 40% carbs and 20% fat from calories. go yahoo a weight gainer plan according to height weight and age to determine calories needed to gain. If under 18, just be patient.

  2. There is no pill because there's just not sufficient quantity in a pill to make you gain weight (usually just over 1 gram is the most a pill can hold). There are protein powders and "weight gain" powders out there, but they basically help your muscles recoup after a hard workout and help workouts last longer (so you're gaining muscle weight, which is the healthy weight anyway).

That being said, even if you don't want to hear it, talking to a dietitian is the safest way to gain weight... that way, you can work with them to set up a meal plan and exercise regiment to help you gain weight.

Also, to note, the WORST way to gain weight is just to eat more... it's moreso eating the right things to gain the weight to make sure you're getting more of the healthy stuff.

I've been working out more over the past several months and I've gained around 20 pounds through working out. I used to hover around 135-140 pounds (for the past 10+ years before this), so that's a huge boost for me. Give it a shot and you'll be pleasantly surprised :-)
